The actor known in the old Generations as Siphiwe was found shot and dead this morning. Siphiwe was his screen name, Mandla Hlatshwayo being his real name has left a gap in his loved ones hearts.

He made a name for himself. Cape Town – According to online reports former Generations actor and JoziFM DJ Mandla Hlatshwayo, 40, has been shot dead.
Hlatshwayo and a friend were reportedly gunned down in Pimville, Soweto during a robbery at a pub on Sunday night.
Police spokesperson Captain Hitler Mgwenya confirmed that two people were shot dead at a pub in Pimville at 23:00 on Sunday night.
Mgwenya added that the victims tried to help other people in the pub who were being robbed.

Hlatshwayo was best known for his role as Siphiwe Phosa on the SABC1 soapie Generations, a role he played for seven years.
According to TVSA Hlatshwayo’s big break came in 1996 when he starred in the SABC 1 soapie Soul City 2.
