Dwarf Groom Climbs His Specially-Made Ladder To  Kiss His Bride In Church (Photos)

A 3ft 7ins groom took his own specially-made stepladder to church so he could stand next to his bride on his wedding day. James Lusted, 28, who has a rare genetic dwarfism condition, used a four-step wooden ladder to climb up next to his 5ft 7in bride Chloe.

The pair then stood eye-to-eye as they exchanged marriage vows in front of family and friends. The newlyweds then shared a kiss, as Mr Lustedstood on the step.

The groom – who is known to his bride as Jay – said: ‘I had the steps especially made. They actually made me a couple of inches taller than her.

‘It meant we could have a proper kiss just like any other couple on their wedding day.’

Mrs Lusted added: ‘There may be a 2ft height difference but when you are in love little things like that don’t matter.’
